Regenerate4Resilience

Bridging the gap between pioneers, academia, and policy.

As a bio-engineer with an anthropological perspective, I act as an independent catalyst within the agro-ecological transition. With over 20 years of experience in societal innovation and systems thinking, I build bridges between actors essential for systems change. My focus is on unlocking underrepresented agricultural innovations and uniting pioneers in agriculture and science to scale climate-resilient food systems.

🤝 Transdisciplinary partnerships

True change requires connection between agricultural pioneers, scientists and relevant stakeholders in a multi-actor approach. I catalyse impactful coalitions where radical innovations tackle complex systemic challenges.

🏛️ Strategic advice

I offer independent, critical guidance on agro-ecology and soil health for policymakers, organizations, and institutions. Expect strategy that builds genuine resilience for farmers, landscapes, and the whole food system.

📢 Grounded dissemination

In regenerative agriculture, true innovation grows from the ground up. I facilitate horizontal, peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and authentic storytelling, amplifying the lived expertise of pioneering farmers to directly inspire the wider community.

🎙️ Podcast Pier review ("Pier" is Dutch for earthworm)

An in-depth audio series exploring regenerative soil pioneers. Currently co-produced with Boerenbond (under Flemish organic support program) to capture the voices of pioneer farmers and independent advisors.

🎬 Systems analysis documentary: Water on Flemish fields

A compelling documentary demonstrating how nature-based solutions—such as agroforestry and regenerative grazing—act as crucial buffers against climate extremes. Co-produced with strategic NGO partners and grounded in research from institutes like ILVO, VITO and KU Leuven, the film poses a central question: how can governments, utility stakeholders, and value chain partners collaborate to create viable business models that pay farmers for water ecosystem services?

📘 Strategic publications & field storytelling

Concept and editorial leadership. Capturing authentic and inspiring storytelling from pioneers in agriculture and science in publications such as 'A regenerative perspective on soil by pioneer in farming and science' and 'Trees for resilience - organic farmers on agroforestry'.
